PVC Flooring
PVC tiles are vinyl-based flooring that has polyvinyl chloride (PVC) as the main component.
Previously, the main application in Japan was for stores and office spaces but now are being used in the housing sector due to its durability and easy maintenance.
Outside of Japan, it is more well known as Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT) and has a large market. DSK's product not only performs well but also uses high-definition print film that are cut into various sizes. Diverse customization and artistic liberty are achievable with designs reminiscent of wood, stone, and other natural materials. In light of SDGs, DSK is also focused on recycling initiatives.
Gluedown/Dryback
Gluedown tiles are constructed to meet housing requirements.
These tiles are thin (generally 2~3mm) making them lightweight and easy to handle.
DSK gluedown tiles are unique because it has outstanding dimensional stability which prevents expanding/contracting after adhesive installation.
These gluedown products are specifically made in order to succeed in homes everywhere. This focused purpose allows us to also provide the products at competitive prices.
For commercial areas that want the benefits of gluedown tiles, a thicker wear layer can be applied to perform well there too.
Loose Lay
Loose Lay tiles are made to withstand commercial areas with high foot traffic.
To perform well, DSK's Loose Lay has a thick wear layer for heavy use and a glass-fiber layer within the product to suppress shrinking/expanding due to temperature.
This durable product also has a non-slip backing which supports glue-less installation. This brings down material and labor cost for a high performing product.
Acoustic Product
DSK acoustic flooring is sound-insulating, shock-absorptive, and has a soft underfoot.
This backing is made from IXPE (irradiated cross-linked polyethylene) and it is thermally laminated to the product with a proprietary, adhesive-free technique.
The acoustic backing will never peel off guaranteeing acoustic performance. This is a quality guarantee that DSK's competitors cannot make.
SPC/Rigid Core
DSK produces SPC which is a flooring type that continues to grow in market share world wide.
SPC is a PVC-based flooring that contains a high percentage of calcium carbonate. These minerals give enhanced durability and rigidity. In addition, unique beveling to meet the customer's preference is available.
In DSK's SPC is a layer of ultra-fine glass fibers which further increases dimensional stability. This eliminates the expansion and contraction issue seen in other products. Also, this SPC has reduced weight making it more workable.
PVC-Free
In line with our sustainability commitments, we have developed a new PVC-free floor.
This product is completely free of PVC, plasticizer, and other synthetic solvents making it perfect for the environment and human health.
Our PVC-free flooring reduces carbon dioxide emissions, prevents generation of toxic chlorine gas, dioxins, and utilizes renewable materials.

Highly-Durable Polyolefin Flooring
With a patent on its process technology for polypropylene (PP) of polyolefin plastic, our PVC-free product is the premium, environment-conscious flooring that elevates how we judge sustainability and performance in a eco-friendly product.
In addition, all of DSK's LVT designs can be used in the PVC-free product creating a wide variety of possible designs. The PVC-free has superior durability, high dimensional stability, and is waterproof. With easy maintenance, it is a floor design to last.
